Unable to find a physical explanation for an imbalanced reflex? If a physical reason for imbalance has been ruled out, an emotional reason can be considered. Emotional reasons for imbalanced reflexes depend on what body part or system the reflex relates to. The colour of skin tone on a reflex can also indicate different emotions. Red suggests anger, while yellow relates to feeling fed up. White suggests tiredness, while blue relates to feeling hurt. For example, a red area over the spine could suggest that someone is feeling angry about a lack of support, where as a white area on the spine could imply that person is tired as a result of a lack of support.

Is there a difference between an imbalance on the left foot and on the right foot?
The right foot is thought to reflect the past. If someone has recently suffered from a cough, an imbalance in the lung reflex may show on the right foot but not the left as it is a past condition. Sometimes an imbalance will show on the left (present) foot on one treatment and have moved to the right foot on the next treatment. This applies to emotional imbalances as well as physical imbalances. Right foot reflexes are thought to relate to processing.
The left foot is believed to reflect the present. If someone has a stomach ache, an imbalance might show on the stomach reflex on the left foot but not the right as it is a current condition. However, on the following treatment, the imbalance may have moved to the stomach reflex on the right foot as it is then a past condition. Again, this applies to both physical and emotional imbalances. Left foot reflexes are thought to relate to elimination.
