Reflexology Lymph Drainage Treatment
Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is a reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. RLD was researched and developed by Sally Kay whilst working in cancer care, initially developed for secondary lymphoedema in breast cancer patients.
Your treatment will vary based on your consultation. Typical treatments may include relaxation sequences, reflexology lymph drainage on two or three feet (one foot may be worked twice), and work on other reflexes. Your treatment will last around 45 minutes.
Hollie is fully qualified and registered as an Approved RLD Practitioner, having completed training with Sally Kay. Treatments are mobile, visiting you in your home.

Your Reflexology Lymph Drainage Appointment
Your Holistics with Hollie appointment will begin with a 15 minute consultation. We will discuss your general health, lifestyle and any conditions you would like me to focus on. This enables me to adapt your reflexology treatment to benefit you the most.
Reflexology is not suitable for certain conditions, and sometimes a shorter treatment or lighter pressure will be recommended.
After your consultation, you will be invited to take a seat in my Lafuma reflexology chair, which will then be reclined for your comfort. Next, your feet will be cleansed, and I will wash my hands before starting your treatment.
You will be able to choose from a variety of reflexology waxes for your treatment, including an unscented vegan option.
As your Reflexology Lymph Drainage treatment will work on the ankles and bottom of the lower leg, it is advisable to wear clothing that can be rolled up easily. You can read more tips for making your treatment perfect for you here.
